906bt not support advance coding on F SERIES BMW

     as per the what autel advertise that the 906BT have Advance coding same as the 908 however its not support coding for BMW F Series , whence you choice coding it will ask you to connect J2534 so the software is not recognized that i am using 906BT not 908P  so i could't do coding for F Series bmw :( hope from autel to fix this issue in the new update

     I have also noticed this half the the bmw's you try programming
    Ask you to connect j2534 and show diagram of ms908p with lan connection looks like autel has just used ms908pro software on 906bt
    And obviously not fully compatible

     The question I have is if you connected the j2534 would the 906BT program the car like the 908 pro does or would it fail?

     I believe for the programming side of BMW F Series it requires the special BMW 16 pin Ethernet adapter , I'm not sure if it still requires that Ethernet adapter for the advanced coding.  You may not even get that BMW F series adapter  in the Maxi Sys Pro Adapters box kit unless the seller includes it. Not sure the MS906BT has an ethernet port to be able to use a BMW ethernet cable required for F series BMWs unless they somehow have developed some type of micro USB to BMW ethernet adapter if the BT doesn't provide an Ethernet port. Well does the MS906 BT have an Ethernet port , or not?
